Hemmingway Residence & ADU

Description

This project features a main residence and an ADU, both designed in a Modern Farmhouse aesthetic. The design centers around the kitchen and dining area as the heart of the home—the point from which the overall functionality and flow evolve. Natural wood tones and soft whites define the interior palette, creating a sense of warmth and calm. The scope of work included the main house—specifically the dining area, kitchen, living room, and all four facades—emphasizing natural ventilation and a strong visual connection to the outdoors. The ADU, located on the left side of the property, is a fully equipped, independent unit that includes a living room, dining area, kitchen with a breakfast nook, bedroom, and bathroom—merging practicality and aesthetic harmony in one cohesive space.
